How do I return an item?

Cancellation/Refund Policy for Summer Encampment:
"Cancellations for Summer Encampment must be received at least 30 days prior to transportation date to Encampment.  Cancellations received prior to this date will be 100% refunded minus a $10 processing fee.  Cancellations received after this date are non-refundable.  Cadets who do not show up for their transportation, or who leave early from Encampment will not be refunded."
Cancellation Policy for Items:
"To cancel an order you have placed with the LEAD Foundation Cadet Store, you must contact customer support  by email ([email protected]) or by phone (1­-925-405-7720). Every effort will be  made to accommodate the cancellation of your order as long as it has not yet shipped.  When contacting customer support to cancel an order, please be ready to provide your name,  the order number, and your contact information.  Please note that if the item has shipped, the order cannot be canceled. In this case, you can  request to return the item for a refund (minus shipping costs and a $10 processing fee). 

Out of Stock Policy:
"Our inventory can fluctuate throughout the day, so an item indicated as “in­ stock” when you place your order may, in fact, be out-of-stock. In this event, we make every effort to contact you by email immediately to notify you that your order will be placed on backorder. The email will  also provide you with information on how to cancel the order if you would prefer not to wait for  the item to be in stock again.
Certain items for sale on our site are not kept in inventory, but can be special ordered for you  and shipped within two (2) weeks. If you select one of these items, your checkout page will  indicate the actual shipping date. If the shipping date is not acceptable, you may cancel the item  before confirming your order."

Return/Refund Policy for Items:
"The LEAD Foundation Cadet Store will issue a full refund or store credit (minus shipping costs and a $10 processing fee for most items returned in new condition within 30 days of the shipment date. We are unable to return embroidered or personalized items. If you wish to exchange an item, we suggest returning the unwanted item for a refund and placing a new order for the item you want.  Items may be returned by mailing them directly to the Cadet Store or returned in person at Camp San Luis Obispo.
